Al Barnim President of AL Barnim Inc. has never looked back since purchasing a Sunoco Service Station in the village of Burgessville, which he operated on a part time basis while still retaining full time employment in Woodstock, ON.  In 1969, Al left his job to devote all of his efforts to the Burgessville location.  At this time the growing pains of his business starts.  In 1971, Al's eldest son Bruce joined the operation and a 40' by 50' addition was added.  For the first two years Bruce and Al sold and services snowmobiles lawnmowers ect. but the tire business was to be their calling in life.  In the spring of 1973, Al's Tire purchases a 1966 service truck and entered the farm tire sales and service business in a big way.  In 1974 the business was incorporated Al Barnim Inc. operated as Al's Tire Service.  By 1979 the business was again bursting at the seams as every nook and cranny was filled with tire inventory including many storage trailers.  Again major expansion was required and a further70' by 100' was added.  In 1980 with the new enlargement building ready, Al's Tire started a full service tire outlet with all new modern equipment, selling and servicing farm, truck and passenger tires, as well as a full mechanical department.  The Barnim family, not being ones to sit around, acquired the assets of another large full service outlet,  Haugh Tire & Muffler in Clinton, ON., July 6, 1985.

    OTR (Off The Road) is the most recent addition and is bases out of the Burgessville location and services all locations.

    Today this Multi-Million dollar operation is still a Family run business with Al Barnim President,  Bruce Barnim Vice President,  Brad Barnim Manager Ingersoll, Christine Barnim inside sales Burgessville, Kevin Barnim tire service Burgessville.  Our network includes: Head Office in Burgessville, Haugh Tire in Exeter, and Al's Tire in Ingersoll with staff of over 40 employees.  Partnerships include: Huron Tire in Clinton, Brant Tire in Brantford, London Vulcanizing and Retreading in London, M&J Tire in Tillsonburg and TireLife in Aberfoyle.  Affiliated dealerships include: Honeywood Tire in Stratford, Sarnia Tire in Sarnia and Tim's Tire in Hagersville.
